Class Schedule

Strictly Beginners' Level 1

The next Strictly Beginners 8 week course will commence in September 2008. Come and learn your first Latin and Ballroom dance steps (even if you have 3 left feet!) in a fun, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Over 8 weeks you'll gradually learn 5 dances to a level where you'll feel comfortable and confident dancing at a social event. Beginners Level 2 - Mondays

Continuing on from Level 1, you will learn a new dance - the Quickstep, as well as adding some more steps to your routines and generally getting the feel of your newly found dance skills.  NEXT COURSE starts at 8pm on 16th June 2008.

Beginners Level 3 - Mondays

Once you have completed Levels 1 & 2 or have covered the basics in the dances taught in the first 2 courses, join us at Level 3.  for an hour. Start learning your first steps of the Samba, gain more confidence, increase your knowledge and enjoyment. NEXT COURSE will start at 9pm on 12 May 2008

Please note the class on 19th May will be held at Walthamstow Hall instead.

There will not be a class on 2nd June

Improvers Class and Social Dancing - Mondays

Once you have completed Beginner Levels 1-3, join us at Walthamstow Hall School from 8-10pm for an evening of social dancing and tuition.  There will be lots of time to practise the steps you have learned on the Beginner courses, socialise as well as continuing to learn during the instruction period.  There will be two lots of tuition and we will divide in to two classes at different levels giving you the chance to develop your dancing further with new steps and tips on making it feel great.

Please note, there will not be a class on 19th May.

Improvers to Advanced, Classes and Social Dancing - Tuesdays

Once you have learnt a few basic steps then join our Tuesday evening class at Walthamstow Hall School from 8-10pm (see map). There is no need to book, just turn up on the day. We combine formal Latin and Ballroom dance tuition, with time to practise and socialise in an informal and relaxed atmosphere. There are three teachers enabling us to divide in to separate classes:- Improvers, Intermediates, Advanced.  Within the evening, one session is devoted to Latin and a second session to Ballroom. During the general dancing, there are plenty of opportunities to dance with the teachers and other class members to practise your new steps and just enjoy dancing.  Don't worry, it's not necessary to bring a partner. Feel free to bring your own drinks.

For those who want to take their dancing further, we offer private tuition and the opportunity to take exams and enter competitions.

Please note that on 27th May, the evening will be a social/practise only - there will not be any tuition.
